  • Finishing Out the Month with a Bang -

    IMG_0314_e

July has felt like a month that started in Oct of 02 and run since, not just the last 30 days.  Unending!  But no, the past 31 days has been the same 2, 678, 400 seconds as any other.  This one has just felt very different.

    Yesterday was no exception.

Dylan borrowed his Dad’s work car because the e-brake on his car is needing some work.

He headed to down town Portland for a modeling gig he’s been working to get.  What was to be a 2 hour thing for him, ended up being 8 hours of waiting, prep, and no food.

When he is done w/ the modeling – he pulls out to come home… gets to where a huge Uhaul is parked at a 4 way stop and doesn’t see the stop.

He got plowed.  He hit his head.  He got told in very bad language that the Uhaul was in no way at fault (by the ppl who had parked it).  He was given NO information by the person that hit him.  Just a name.  No phone number.  No insurance information.  Nothing.

  • OM Goodness, I’m sorry to hear about Dylan’s accident.  Hope his head is feeling better.

    Thanks for posting the freebies!

Prayers for safe travels & for your friend Elisabeth.

  • I am so sorry about Dylan’s accident. Why didn’t he call the cops??? At least the people would have been forced to give the insurance information. (((((HUGS))))) to all of you. The wreck Sherri had in April, she got a letter from the insurance company. They told the other guy (the one who was speeding, but it was still her fault, mind you…) that she is only good for 10,000 worth of medical. It was over 7,000 as the adjustor understood it. Apparently, the adjuster who is working on the case told Sherri that the guy seems to be nice, but they are fighting medicare. So, we are still awaiting the outcome.

Lord, bless Gina and her family, and also her friend Elisabeth… and that they may have a safe, peaceful journey. In Your precious Name I ask, Amen!

    Love ya! Tracy
