Scrapbook Freebies Saturday
I haven’t shown you any good scrapbooking freebies in such a long time – so today is the day.
Click on the photo and you will be taken to where the freebie is located.
Misty’s freebies are always so usable!
I’m not a huge quick page gal, but the colors of this one was gorgeous! You just put your photo in and wa-la, you are done!
Retro Diva’s site has an ever changing rotation of kits. She offers a quick page, papers, elements, and alpha. Bookmark her site and go back monthly – you won’t be disappointed.
We got 4 inches of new snow on the ground last night. I’m off to watch it fall (and I’m grateful I don’t have to go out in it.)~G

Pretty! I don’t dare start another hobby – I could see where it would get addicting really FAST. Enjoy the snow – we still haven’t had one flake fall. ~sniff~ Suz
Maybe you could answer a couple questions for me, I have never done this kind of scrap-booking. When you download these do you make the page with downloaded photos and then print it, or do you print this and then use the photos you have printed? I know it sounds like a dumb question…but I have never done anything like this! I have made pages with photos and basically did scrap-booking when I was in high school 1977-1980…I wish I knew then that this was such a HUGE thing, I could of been rich had I introduced it!
@firefighterswife - You need to have a program that will allow you to manipulate your photos. You ‘lay’ the quick page down and then put your photo ‘under’ it… allowing the photo to show through the open frame area. You can enlarge or shrink your photo to fit into place. Then you would print out the entire page (or load it at your favorite store to print – costco, WM, etc) and have them print it out. If you have more questions – feel free to ask!
So which program do you recommend, keeping in mind, I am hoping not to spend a lot… HUGS!!! Tracy
@Mother_Moonie - I have Paint Shop Pro, which can basically do everything that PhotoShop can at a 10th of the cost. I see that Costco has Paint Shop Pro right now for $79.99 whereas PS can cost anywhere from $699 – 999. Huge diff! You can try either program for free for 30 days to decide which one you like the feel of better.Paint Shop Pro DownloadPhoto Shop Download
Will definitely have to look into these! Thanks!
These are all LOVELY Gina! Thank you for taking the time to share them with us! I’ll connect with you in the next day or so! (prolly tomorrow as life goes back to ‘normal’ with Miles at school. I’m still praying on the job front for your family.
Gina, loved those designs and registered to purchase some of the designs…but alas, the time of download on dial-up was over 18 hours. Wow!!! that is a long time. I think I would like to do a few pages especially in an 8×8 format. My printer will not do 12×12…should have thought ahead when getting it but it was free (sort of). My DH gets sales points and I got through them. We don’t have a Costco, etc. close by. Would Wally World be able to print 12×12′s. This is something I am interested in. Thanks.
