Happy Monday Everybody!
(Happy Homemaker Monday can be found at http://familycorner.blogspot.com/)ON MY BEDSIDE TABLE: Deadline (I started reading this book in 2006 and although I thought it was a great book, I only got through 130 pages in 9 months. I couldn't touch it after the funeral, even though I tried... it talks of Heaven and angels and being ready.) So far so good. I'll let ya know how it goes.
ON MY TV: What Happens in Vegas (oh my word, so many non-appropriate parts to this movie, but I nearly wet myself watching it, seriously)
ON THE MENU FOR TONIGHT: Pulled pork sandwiches & macaroni salad (for the kids).
ON MY TO DO LIST: Sleep in, lay around, drink some diet Dr. Pepper, and possibly go outside in the sun.
NEW RECIPE I TRIED LAST WEEK: I've been rather lacking in food creativity as I am on a weight loss journey (I'm down 40 pounds as of this week - been at it 11 weeks now).
IN THE CRAFT BASKET: An adorable yellow baby blanket... I made this purse last week. :)
(blackberry photo)
LOOKING FORWARD TO: 2nd hand shopping w/ a really good friend of mine.
HOMEMAKING TIP OF THE WEEK: Laundry will always be there, enjoy your life, your kids, your family while you have time - don't sweat the cleaning as much.
FAVORITE BLOGSPOT OF THE WEEK: Reinvented
FAVORITE PHOTO OF THE WEEK:

My 'baby' (who stands over 6 foot 1) is now driving. :)
LESSON LEARNED FROM THE PAST FEW DAYS: Some horrible parents (that have hurt those I love) should be very grateful that I am not God…
ON MY PRAYER LIST: said horrible people.
DEVOTIONS, SCRIPTURES, KEY VERSES: A man reaps what he sows. Gal. 6:7 (niv)

Congrats on the weight loss!!! I am down about 10 lbs. but have been slacking lately with watching what I am eating. Got to the gym today though, so a good start to get back on track...
Wow.. .G what a great weight loss.....good for you
And your baby....wow....
I want that purse!!!!!
I love the way you write all these things in such a condensed form! Kind of like Gina's readers digest!!!
I love the verse you used here, some people do not have a good future!
Have a good week!
Pretty Purse! Tall and nice looking boy (ahem, don't tell him I said boy - I mean MAN! rotfl!) And he drives... gosh was just the other day the last chick from our nest started maneuvering the pavement herself. Happy/sad all at the same time. Menu sounds nummy - do you do the pork in a crock?
I will add these folks to my prayer list too, G. Love your heart.
I'll be 'lerking' for you this evening! My friend's book is in today so she will get a first look. I'm nervous and excited at the same time. I'm going to add another chapter for her today for the second printing.
O Happy Day 2 U, my friend.
♥ Barb
