  • RIP

Sadly she breathed her last yesterday.  She was 12 years old & had been failing for some time.

Counter top or range top?  Which would sell a house better?~G

  • Sounds like she had a good run. We have a counter top one and probably always will-possibly due to the fact that dd and I have a tendency to set them on fire  (I put a bagel in for 6 minutes instead of 60 seconds and dd made easy mac without the water)-it’s easier to toss out a counter one than one that’s attached to a range.

  • range tops are nice because then you don’t have to use counter space for them…..

  • We have our first over the stove model and I love it, resisted it for awhile before agreeing when we redid the cabinets.  Counter top would cost you less, but take up space.  Hmmm, guess I wasn’t much help!  How much other work is needing to be done in the kitchen?  Would you have chosen a range top if you were staying?  You have used your kitchen bunches, so I would go with your gut since you have the best idea of where it would work.

  • Over the range- over the range- over the range- more counter space that way- what do you really store over the stove anyways???

  • Over the range.

  • My answer will probably not fit in because I would go with counter top because of my height.  I’m short and the ones over the stove are too high.  Keep un informed.  Nanny

  • Range top for sure!

  • Over the range definitely.  We can always use more counter space.  Don’t go pay full price though.  I just got my microwave convection oven (over the range model) for $100. on craigslist.com.  Check there.  Especially since you’re selling the house!  I saved about $400.  Woo hoo!

  • over the range…

  • for re-sale – over the range for sure!
